Personal agency’s requirement:
Work Service is an international personal agency with branch offices over all Europe. Company provides their clients with recruitment services for permanent and part-time jobs. Work Service company approached us with a request to develop an information system for the needs of their personal agency. A software which would provide them with applicants and clients reports and eventually sort these applicants.
Solution
Work Service has several offices in Czech Republic, therefore the whole system was conceived as a web application due to easy data sharing with easy access. Final web application is of database character and fully supports work with personal agency’s data. It allows user to store records about users, applicants, clients and their business cases. Moreover, the application supports searching applicants for positions according to desired criteria and applicant’s knowledge and also supports reporting.
Web application functionality
The web application has an in-build support for personal agency’s processes from inserting a new business case up to its invoicing. It enables work with both „temporary“ (part-time jobs) and „recruitment“ (permanent employment) positions. References can be automatically generated from applicant’s profiles and send to clients after its completion. Further, agency’s employee can mark meeting at clients, employment commencement and billing. Thanks to these indicators the user is informed about the state of business cases.
.NET Framework 1.1 – ASP.NET technology was used to develop the web application itself. Data are stored on Microsoft SQL Server database server. Another useful feature is the possibility of setting access rights for user groups (roles) especially for each individual modules (Users, Business cases, Applicants, Clients, Key tables, Reporting).
