In these days, new project appears on the Internet. Team of two young students decided to make new worldwide social site. The main idea is that people would vote and discuss issues and problems which most of people in the World are concerned.

Idea originated in a very prosaic place-in the pub.  „U.S. presidential election were approaching and we discussed which countries prefer Obama and which McCaine,“  say one of the founders, project manager Adam Novak. „We found that the answers to these questions in fact doesn´t exist.” At that time we raised the idea of such a comprehensive web portal where world public can vote and simultaneously get results of this voting.

Memos Software was ordered to create this unique voting site Worldopinion.eu.

Currently we can vote and debate whether we watched the Olympics, if we are satisfied with the situation in our country, if we feared swine flu, or whether we walk around without a mobile phone.

This neatly-designed web application also uses maps of the Word to allow access to the voting in each country. In statistics, however, we learn not only how nations and continents vote, we can also see positions on certain issues by sex, age, annual income, religion or ethnic groups.

Discussion is open to all, including non-authenticated users. Sending contributions to the discussion is conditioned by registering. Voters assess positively ( "thumb up") or negative ( "thumb down") each discuss post. Users who aren´t logged in can also rate contributions.

Each user who is registered has a homepage where he can see clearly the questions which he has already voted and discussions, which he took part. At the same time it allows to set information about user.

Worldopinion.eu is still only in English, but it certainly appears in other languages in the future, because the aim of the project is to get totally objective world views.
