Customer

Technologies

ScanIS is a new information system for Scania Finance company. The aim of this solution is to replace the old enterprise information systems. The development was divided into several phases. In March 2007, fourth part has been finished. The main accent was put on Offers and Leasing modules. A difference between old and new system is evident from next image:

ScanIS phase 4 - Schema

The fourth phase consisted of four main tasks:
  • conversion of the questionnaires into electronic form;
  • vendor assignment to offers;
  • offer activation into leasing;
  • basic details of contract creation.
The electronic form of questionnaires enables more effective way how to work with information from customers. Everything from questionnaires is now stored in application database and is quickly accessible from company detail dialog in ScanIS.

It is also easy to find and select a vendor from database and to assign this vendor to specific offer. The search engine is shown at next image:

ScanIS automatizes and facilitates a transfer of the offer into leasing. There is some automatically generated stuff:
  • amortization;
  • insurance contract;
  • bailment lease;
  • schedule of instalments.
