Requirements:
Sharper Impressions Painting Company, full-service painting contractor, approached us with the request for development of the booking system onto its website. The system should allow clients to choose and book the term for the meeting with the company’s representative.
The online booking system should primarily simplify the first contact of the company with customers. If a customer visits the website, he can see available times to schedule a quote depending on the representative free/busy schedule. When the quote is booked, it makes an appointment in the representative’s calendar.
Solution:
The solution developed by MEMOS is integrated with company’s Exchange server and Intranet as well. Thus the booking system can operate with outlook calendars of representatives who have filled in the information about their business hours.
Visitor of the website only has to fill in his contact information including ZIP code and his request. Based on a location (ZIP code) appropriate sales representative's calendar is shown with free/busy information. Customer can pick a preferred date and hour but his choice is limited to only available options in drop-down menu. When the customer is finished the e-mail for the final confirmation is sent to his e-mail. Data are then sent to intranet SQL Database and Exchange server. It creates an appropriate calendar event and appropriate data record in Intranet.
