eWay-CRM for ORCO Property Group

Created application is the implementation of eWay-CRM system for Orco Property Group. The aim was to develop a simple application for contact management through whole organization in all offices all around Europe which is integrated into MS Outlook. Due to integration into MS Outlook environment, it is possible to effectively work with contacts without necessity of start another application. This system is completely interconnected with other MS Office 2003 applications. The application is localized to English, French and German.
An architecture of this solution is based on eWay-CRM conception. Microsoft SQL Server 2000 is the basis to which particular computers with eWay-CRM application installed are connected. This system supports Blackberry mobile devices connections. The architecture itself is captured on next schema:

The application is able to run without direct connection to database server. Each system owns a local minicopy of the database which is automatically synchronized with main database on server by web service.
The working with contacts is based on contacts division into some groups. There are three kinds of the groups:

corporate (Orco)

republic (Orco Czech Republic, Orco Slovak Republic, Orco Poland, atd.)

personal (personal group of each user of the system)
Users are divided into particular groups and they can see and handle with contacts only from their group. It is possible to assign the special privileges to each user. These privileges enable users to see the contacts from other groups.
Beside a client part of this application, there is an administrator interface. The client part is open to all users of the system. The administrator part is open only to chosen users - administrators. These administrators are allowed to define the particular groups, to assign the users to these groups and to define the enumerators.
A migration of the current data from existing contact database GAL (Global Address List) to eWay-CRM database was one part of the implementation of eWay-CRM system.
