Project requirements:

British company Modcomp Limited approached MEMOS Software with a request for cooperation in development for one of their customer, Software Cellular Network Ltd. Company, the alternative mobile operator which is running the Truphone application. This application enables to call from mobile phones by means of wireless networks Wi-Fi all over the world.

MEMOS Software together with Modcomp Limited cooperated on the development of specialized software which would simplify the data processing from sales and marketing fields. This would enable more precise monitoring of the company’s customers behaviour. The whole system will be available through the web interface.

Project solution:

The advantage of this Business Intelligence solution is in the fact that it offers gaining data from various company’s databases and prepares them to the format suitable for reporting. J2EE technology was used to develop the application.

The implementation of this solution was divided into several phases. The most important parts were solved at the beginning so the customer could use the first version of the application within a month. Less important parts were then solved in following phases.

This application will then be used especially by the managers and investors monitoring the economic development of the British mobile operator. The business data reports enable them more effective decision-making process.
